History

It all began in the city of Taxco de Alarcón as a result of the silver boom in the 1940s, driven by the American architect William Spratling , who established the first silver workshop, from which great master silversmiths would later emerge who would perpetuate the noble art of jewelry in this city. This allowed the city of Taxco, in addition to the great mining tradition, to be recognized internationally as the world capital of silver.
