On May 27, 2022, we had the pleasure of welcoming jewelry designer Laura Tosato and Minister Counselor Madelyn Fernández from the Dominican Republic to our workshop.
During their visit, they toured the different work areas of the workshop, learned about the silversmithing family tradition that exists in the city of Taxco, we presented them with some of our most iconic pieces such as the Rosa AB and they were able to appreciate the silver weaving technique in one of our bags; we talked about the intrinsic beauty of jewelry pieces created by hand, since they reflect the master jewelers who make them.
Their visit became a cultural and creative exchange, enriching mutual understanding and appreciation for the diversity and richness of the jewelry traditions of both countries.
