On August 12, 2024, the Tourism Secretariat of the Government of the State of Guerrero invited us to the news program "Me lo dijo Adela", hosted by renowned journalist Adela Micha. We participated in a live episode, from the center of Taxco de Alarcón to demonstrate the making of silver jewelry, a symbol of our silver city.
We got to work, designed a special pendant for the host and prepared the materials, tools, some of our silver woven pieces, necklaces, bracelets, rings and flowers to decorate the recording set. On the day of the program, Adela welcomed us with her characteristic warmth and professionalism. Before starting the newscast, we gave her a silver pendant of her program's logo and during the newscast she wore our "Renacer de Acapulco" ring.
Adela introduced us to her audience and gave us the opportunity to showcase our noble craft. With skill and dedication, our master silversmith Brian Nava created a silver pendant, while the cameras focused on each step of the process until the completion of the piece.
Adela praised our jewelry, highlighting the cultural richness of Taxco. It was an unforgettable experience, which allowed us to share our passion for jewelry and promote our beautiful city with the silversmithing tradition that characterizes us.
