Commemorative silver piece of the 4th Tianguis de Pueblos Mágicos made by our master jeweler Brian Nava. Its objective is to exhibit and exalt Mexican artisans, revaluing handmade work and highlighting the artisanal wealth of the country. The necklace was made within the framework of this event based in the city of Oaxaca 2022.
The center piece is inspired by the Pueblos Mágicos logo, the pinwheel is handmade in .925 sterling silver, and includes inlays of parts of crafts donated by different exhibitors at the event. In the main piece we find amber from Chiapas, in the next one, counter-clockwise, it has an inlay of painted copal wood belonging to an alebrije originally from the capital of Oaxaca, the next is a blown glass mount of a sphere, originally from Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, then a black clay mount of a handmade plate originally from San Bartolo Coyotepec, Oaxaca and finally in the last helix we have a red leather inlay originally from Villa del Carbón, State of Mexico.
The centerpiece is held by a handmade chain made of .950 sterling silver, with a total of 132 interlocking links that represent the union and strength of all the magical peoples present in this edition.
More than jewelry, it is art.
